Hobie Fleet 259 was reborn late in 2011 after a group of sailing enthusiasts got together at the end of the summer to form a group on the Central Coast of California. We discovered that there had historically been a regional Hobie Fleet. We have since grown our fleet of recreational and competitive racers. We have developed relationships with local businesses, yacht clubs and governing officials to put on an annual regatta each year starting in 2013, and a North American Championship event in 2015.
